The National Park Service's National Capital Regional Office in Washington, DC, is pleased to PRE-announce the following job opportunity, which is anticipated to post to USAJobs between now and 2/27. We are excited to begin the process of finding a candidate who will be initiating and developing this tribal relations program. While this will be the first of its kind in the DC National Capital Region, The National Park Service has well-established Tribal Liaison and relations this role will be modeled and built upon. Our selected candidate will support agency officials engage and build strong relationships with tribal communities affiliated with the landscape of the middle and upper Potomac River watershed.

Position: Regional Tribal Liaison - GS-0301-13
Salary Range: $117,962 - $153,354 per year
Duty Station: Washington, DC (telework eligible)
Announcement: Open to career federal employees and the public. Multiple federal hiring authorities are available. The dual announcements will be open for three weeks or until 50 applications are received for each.
Incentives: Permanent Change of Station costs (relocation) are authorized (as needed and subject to policy)
