Women in Federal Law Enforcement, Inc. |
WIFLE announced its Mentor Program in August 2020. WIFLE seeks volunteers to serve as a WIFLE Mentor, a trusted adviser for women and men who are striving to reach their greatest potential in the field of law enforcement. As an experienced professional, you can provide one-on-one counseling to our WIFLE members and assist them with navigating through their work-related challenges and concerns. Our goal is for the WIFLE Mentor Program to serve as a catalyst for encouraging more women and men to pursue a careers in law enforcement. As a role model and mentor, your active participation is laying the foundation for positive, impactful change in our beloved profession. Your steadfast commitment to the future of women and men in law enforcement is not only commendable, but it is greatly appreciated. As an official participant in the Mentor Program, your biography will be made available to WIFLE members on our website. Your information, which will be contained in a Mentor Directory, can only be viewed by WIFLE members who log into our website with their password. A WIFLE member will follow up with you directly to discuss the date, time, method of contact (in person or virtual) and frequency of your mutually agreed upon meetings. WIFLE is asking all mentors to make a commitment to serve at a minimum for one year. However, mentors and members will decide on the terms of their mentoring agreement -- as well as determine how long this partnership will remain active. If you have additional questions about the program, please contact WIFLE President Catherine Sanz at wifle@comcast.net. If you need other assistance, contact Webmaster Carol Paterick at carolpaterick@gmail.com. Thanking you in advance for your continued participation and support of WIFLE. MEMBERS: Log into the Members website and look for the Mentor Directory under the Members Only drop-down menu. Contact the individual directly whom you wish to mentor you. |
