Catrina M. Bonus | Women in Federal Law Enforcement (WIFLE) was established in June 1999, as a tax-exempt professional association described in Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. WIFLE was preceded by the Interagency Committee on Women in Federal Law Enforcement (ICWIFLE), created in 1978 by the Departments of Justice and Treasury. WIFLE was created to build upon ICWIFLE’s founding principles and to better address the future needs of women in federal law enforcement. |
