Whether looking for the files from a malware infection, trying to recover a deleted file, or investigating user activity, the file system employed by an operating system is a valuable source of forensic evidence. In this webinar we will examine the characteristics of several different file systems and their host operating systems.
Presenter: James Antonakos
James is a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Computer Science at Broome Community College, in Binghamton, NY, where he has taught since 1984. Antonakos is the designer and director of the new 2-year AAS Degree in Computer Security and Forensics at Broome Community College. James is the author or co-author of over 40 books on computers, networking, electronics, and technology. He is also a fellow at the National Cybersecurity Institute.
The National Cybersecurity Institute is an (ISC)2 Global Academic Program Member and an authorized (ISC)2 CPE provider.
