    Dear WIFLE Member, 

    Today we were informed of the unexpected death of WIFLE Member Special Agent Bianca Mendez of the Social Security Administration Office of the Inspector General stationed in El Paso, Texas.

    Retired Australia Queensland Deputy Commissioner Kath Rynders keynote on the 85th anniversary of women in the Queensland service:

    April 5-8, 2016.  President Sanz at the Policia de Investigaciones de Chile (PDI) at the police academy. These women participated in the round table discussions which included the top ranked woman officer to the new cadets. Training at the academy is three years long and is a live in situation. The officers graduate with the equivalent of a college degree. The agency size is 6000; 30% are women. Material to read includes the remarks and keynote: PDF

Its  predecessor was ICWIFLE (Interagency Committee on Women in Federal Law Enforcement) founded by OPM in 1970's.

Women in Federal Law Enforcement, Inc. (a professional association) and WIFLE Foundation, Inc. (a charitable and educational organization) are founded under the Internal Revenue Service Codes 501(c)(6) and 501(c)(3), respectively. Both organizations use "WIFLE" as their short-version name.
